How to install surveillance cameras

  1. The rated voltage of the wire used for monitoring camera should be greater than the operating voltage of the line; The insulation of the conductor shall conform to the installation mode of the line and the environmental conditions of laying. The cross-sectional area of the conductor shall meet the requirements of power supply and mechanical strength.
  2. Avoid wire connections when distributing wires. Except where a joint is necessary, the joint of the camera must be pressed or welded. The joint of the wire and the branch should not be subjected to mechanical force. The conductor in the tube shall not have a joint under any circumstances. If necessary, place the joint on the probe terminal of the junction box.
  3. Wiring shall be installed horizontally or vertically in the building. The wiring shall be protected by casing (plastic or iron pipe, according to the technical requirements of indoor wiring). The ceiling wiring can be wired with metal hose, but it needs to be fixed, secure and beautiful.
  4. The signal line should not be parallel to the high-power power line, let alone in the same tube. If due to environmental constraints, the line should be run parallel, stay away from more than 50cm.
  5. The AC power supply of the alarm control box should be wired separately, and the camera should not be connected to the signal line and the LOW-voltage DC power line in the same tube. The installation of the AC power line should meet the electrical installation standards.
  6. The wiring of the alarm control box to the ceiling requires that casing should be inserted into the wall or protected with iron pipe, so as to improve the anti-damage performance of the anti-theft system.
  7. There are two kinds of pipe wiring: light wiring and dark wiring. The open pipe of the camera should be horizontal and vertical, neat and beautiful.
