There are USB 2.0 standard (the charging cable of many mobile phones is often this), there is USB 2.0 standard but also supports fast charging (the internal CC cable is connected), and it supports USB 3.1 Full-featured line. But no matter which one, it will support 5V charging at least, current 500mA, 1A, 2.1A, etc. In other words, the worst case is that fast charging may not be supported.
